 Desarrollo:            
                                FUTURE "GOING TO"

Use 'be going to' to talk about our future intentions, plans and predictinos.

Use 'be going to' para hablar sobre nuestras intenciones, planes y predicciones futuras.

Structure:

Affirmatives: Subject + To be (conjugate) + going to +  Verb (Infinitive).

Negatives: Subject + to be (conjugate) + not + going to + verb (infinitive).

Interrogative: To be (conjugate) + subject + going to + verb (intinitive) +? 

    FUNTION:

    USE OF "GOING TO" REFER TO PLANS AND INTENTIONS. Uso de "going to" para referirse a planes e intenciones.

The auxiliary verb is used in talking about intentions. (An intention is a plan for the future that you have already thought about.)

El verbo auxiliar que va a se usa para hablar sobre intenciones. (Una intención es un plan para el futuro en el que ya has pensado).

Examples:

    Is Juan Javier going to buy a new car soon?

• Are Aura and Francis going to visit Mompóx when they are in Cartagena?
• Aren't you going to stay at the library until your report is finished?

          USE OF "GOING TO" TO FORMULATE PREDICTIONS. Uso de "going to" para formular predicciones.

 Be going to is used to predict future events that are very near (and can be seen) or seem   sure to happen. Such predictions are based on present evidence:

(Be going to se usa para predecir eventos futuros que están muy cerca (y se pueden ver) o parece seguro que sucederán. Dichas predicciones se basan en la evidencia actual)

         EJEMPLOS

• He's going to be an excellent doctor.
• I'm going to have a hard time falling asleep.
• Is it going to rain this afternoon?
• Aren't they going to come to the concert?
